The Kiss

Nancy L RODRIQUEZ 1965 (Temple)

                                             The Kiss
                    By Nancy Rodriquez
The  first time we kissed was as a burning flame,
The Kiss of a life time, baring no shame,
It may have been the best in our lives,
Leading up to this journey of questioning why,
It seems we have had this before,
In another long ago life,
Now discovering much more,
As we are coming back from a pause,
Two souls tasting the fruit of love again ,
Renewing what felt as a lost cause ,
While enduring intense pain ,
The Universe draws our union as the earth keeps its revolve,
Fate keeps rhyme in the present time,
Two hearts entwine.
