The simplicity of a laugh
The commonality of a smile
Rejoice in the beauty of life
Because it is worth the while

Life can be so short
As we already know
It's okay to be affectionate
Now it's time to show

To breathe is a blessing
Taking it away is a sin
It truly pains me to see life wasted
Time and time again
