Kaf
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
The Lord casts off not forever,
His compassion may cause you grief;
His steadfast love will not sever,
Whoever has faith and belief.
For He does not afflict from His heart,
Nor to grieve the children of men
Multitude of mercies impart,
Comfort you like a mother hen.
He will crush foes under His feet,
All the prisoners of the earth;
Cause enemies to see defeat.
Because of having lack of worth.
He denies men righteous justice,
In the presence of the Most High;
Doing an immoral practice,
By causing a person to die.
Subvert a man in a lawsuit,
That the Lord will never approve;
Their corruption has a deep root,
God assures us He will remove.
