Seeds of Truth, Flowers of Freedom
The imperialists played god in '48
Carving up land without consent's sake
Giving what was not theirs to take
A crime indeed they did make
No right had they to Palestine's earth
To displace people without moral worth
With violent foundations from the first
Justice and freedom were cursed
Can guns and greed ever lead to peace?
When people's will is not released
Suffering and conflict will not cease
Until all chains are released
Who are they to draw lines on sand?
To claim authority over a stolen land
With the blood of innocents on their hands
Will this injustice ever end?
The wounds of history still ache
When will humanity finally awake?
And see that peace is not to take
But to give, for conscience's sake
The Strong only duty is to aid the weak
Not to oppress those who cannot speak
Might does not mean to dominate the meek
But uplift those who freedom seek
Chains of the past bind us still
Have we not learned enough lessons of ill?
It is time for truth, justice, and goodwill
The light of peace, may it fill
What is a home without consent?
A prison built by violent intent
Where exiled souls do lament
Yearning for days of content
So hear the cry of the displaced
See the injustice, its bitter taste
In passion for justice make haste
Let not more blood and tears go to waste
Power and greed caused this plight
To impose their will with arrogant might
No matter how long, truth will bring light
And show the wrongs that caused this blight
Who is free when sisters and brothers are bound?
Justice is lost, by deaf ears their cries drowned
Until all are free may peace be found
Chains and walls must come down
Can peace bloom from bloodied ground?
Where bones of the innocent are found
And exiles wander aimlessly around
Will their cries ever make a sound?
So easy to turn and walk away
From the pain of yesterday
But healing comes when debts are paid
Making amends for errors made
Ours is not to hoard liberty’s flame
But share the light, in humanity's name
Igniting justice that lies lame
Standing for those who have no claim
If we close doors to others in need
Then we sow the seeds of greed
Reaping discontent and misery for our feed
Walls will not let our conscience be freed
Come, open your hearts, see how they bleed
People torn from their home like a weed
This is not the world we need
Where might makes right and the mighty succeed
We are one global human tribe
All worthy of rights to thrive
Break unjust borders that divide
Let compassion be your guide
Can peace be built on broken hearts?
Forced apart from their native parts
Wandering the world in scattered parts
Carrying the pain that never departs
If war's roots made this grief to grow
Then peace's seeds we must sow
With care and wisdom seeds we sow
May flowers of justice bloom and grow
Tear down the walls of hate and fear
The future calls, the vision is clear
All are worthy, this truth hold dear
Open your arms, let justice steer
Too long have we closed our eyes
To the suffering, pain and cries
If we walk the road of truth, we rise
To finally see the justice light that lies
The road is long but must be walked
Truth can heal where lives are stalked
Hope will grow from the seeds we've sown
When we no longer walk alone
Let bonds of love replace rusted chains
Till not one life in exile remains
For our shared humanity reins
Beyond all borders, sects and reigns
In oneness we cross dividing lines
And heal wounds of past times
Compassion shall be our guiding signs
Justice, our shared divine
Tear down the walls, end this cruel theft
Return what was taken, this healing left
No longer will hate and greed be left
Only the light of love's wealth
How long will suffering be bought and sold?
Chains of oppression, how long will they hold?
Tell me, how much will peace cost in gold?
While people's dreams remain untold
We are all beams of the same light
Radiant threads of liberty's kite
Soaring towards justice and human rights
Guided by humanity's inner might
If arms reach out beyond all divide
And see all human clans aligned
Borders would open up so wide
That souls chained would be untied
Can we build walls to lock each other out
Separate, suspicious, ruled by doubt?
Or bring the walls down and let love sprout
healing humanity's heart throughout
Come, friends, break those dividing lines
Between yours and mine, us and them
We are one global human tribe
All parts of one sacred stem
Let us speak for those who cannot
The displaced people, anchorless, adrift
May their voices echo clear and oft
Until their stolen rights are lifted
We are one current joined at the source
Buoyed by tides of justice and remorse
To change the tide of suffering's course
United by humanity's force
Too long have we closed our eyes
To the injustice, pain and cries
The hour has come for us to rise
Stand for what is good and wise
Let us walk the road less traveled
Where truth and justice lies unraveled
Lighting the way for all who are able
To build the world that is unstable
If we share each other's tears and laughter
And face each moment joined together after
Borders would not separate, nor power scatter
But lift souls, like birds escaping captor
Come build a world for all to live
Where all are free to grow and give
Beyond the lines that divide
In oneness, we are unified
Let bonds of love replace rusted chains
Till not one life in exile remains
For our shared humanity reigns
Beyond all borders, sects and reigns
We are one global human tribe
All worthy of rights to thrive
Break unjust borders that divide
Let compassion be your guide
The world calls for our hearts to open
To care for those tossed and broken
Healing humanity's unspoken pain
Until their stolen rights we reclaim
Walls built by power's violent hands
Continue injustice in our lands
Until we join as kindred strands
And let love remake the lands
Come build a world where hearts are home
Where exiles no longer need roam
Where walls that divide are thrown
Down till peace in all hearts has grown
We share one cosmic root and seed
Interwoven like a sacred reed
May we flower beyond greed
Cultivating the world in its need
For too long have unjust lines been drawn
Ignoring humanity's shared dawn
But a new day is being born
When all chains and walls are gone
The road is long but we walk together
Through storms and light, as one feather
Righting wrongs in any weather
Till justice blooms like wild heather
Now is the time to rearrange
The broken pieces without estrange
Heal the past's wounds with love's strange
Power till all chains liberated change
We are one current joined at the source
Destined to change injustice's course
Led by truth's unstoppable force
Weaving a world so justice can course
Let justice roll like the sea
From shore to shore, wild and free
Washing away chains unjustly
Till exiles once more know liberty
