Meddlesome meddlers

R Nava 1955 (Lingayen)

I don’t know how I got into this mess
And I don’t know how strong could I stress

I don’t want your hand in my life
And neither do I want to be in a strife

If this is between you and a foe
And you’re wondering how far it could go

Please consider this request a stat
Leave me out of your spat

You meddled with my finances
You thought you could train your apprentices

But I could tell your plans from afar
And for you I wouldn’t leave my door ajar

I couldn’t stress it even more if I could
Leave me and mine as you should

Go on with your tests who are willing
Because on you I wouldn’t spend a shilling

Let me repeat myself once more
I hope you will hear it to its core

Leave me out of your plans
Because you don’t stand a chance

Again consider this request as a stat
Leave me out of your spat

You were never welcome to begin with
And with this you couldn’t hid

I don’t want your presence in my life
And neither do I want to be in your life

Move on as quickly as you should
Live your life without me as you would
