My Dipso Heart

Free verse
Drinking myself off ledges and curbs
I swallow the bottle, it refills with your words
Follow a trail of broken stools to the extension cords
All tied up in waves of insane and unsure
Cuts kin off thinking it’s a way to a cure
Body fluids drained to the core
Still wishing I could throw up this pain and stain your floor
An embodiment of love’s and alcohol’s lore.
