Sunflowers And Butterflies

Sunflowers And Butterflies
By Robert T. Davenport
In a field of golden dreams, where love takes flight,
A sunflower bloomed, bathed in radiant light.
Its petals stretched wide, reaching for the sky,
A beacon of hope, a love that would never die.
And in this field, a butterfly danced with grace,
Its wings painted with colors, a vibrant embrace.
It fluttered and twirled, like a delicate breeze,
Drawn to the sunflower, its heart at ease.
The sunflower stood tall, rooted in the ground,
Its love for the butterfly, forever profound.
It watched as the butterfly kissed each petal,
Leaving traces of love, a dance so celestial.
With every gentle touch, the sunflower bloomed,
Its heart filled with joy, its soul consumed.
The butterfly whispered secrets in the wind,
Promises of love, a connection that would never rescind.
But as the seasons changed, the butterfly yearned,
To explore the world, its wings eager to learn.
It bid farewell to the sunflower, with a heavy heart,
Promising to return, never truly apart.
Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into years,
The sunflower stood strong, despite the tears.
It waited patiently, its love unwavering,
Knowing the butterfly's return would be breathtaking.
And one fateful day, as the sun kissed the sky,
The butterfly returned, with a love that won't die.
It landed on the sunflower, their souls intertwined,
A love story written in the stars, forever aligned.
Together they danced, in a symphony of bliss,
The sunflower and the butterfly, a love they wouldn't miss.
In each other's embrace, they found solace and peace,
A love so profound, it would never cease.
So let this tale be a reminder, my dear,
That love knows no boundaries, no distance to fear.
Like the sunflower and the butterfly, let your love soar,
And may it bloom forever, forevermore.
