Deep in Our Souls

            Deep in Our Souls
        By Nancy Rodriquez

Deep in our souls ,
We know how to make our connection grow ,
By being there for one another too ,
While living in our truth ,
Focusing on the good times and grow from the bad ,
Therefore we do not lose ourselves by being sad ,
By   mirroring one another in plain sight ,
As we focus on a future that is bright ,
We will thank the Universe for finally getting it right ,
We will rise and not fall ,
While somehow having it all ,
When we cry  , we will embrace ,
As when we laugh , our troubles will be far away ,
We will draw strength from each other every day ,
Mountains will move in our wake ,
Lessons have taken the sting out of mistakes ,
Even the Oceans will have to obey ,
Deep in our souls , we are one , it will always be this way.

    Positive and Enthusiastic Feedback:
This poem "Deep in Our Souls" by Nancy Rodriguez is truly beautiful and inspiring. The use of language and imagery is captivating, creating a sense of hope and unity. The poem's message about building a strong connection and supporting each other resonated deeply with me. It evokes a strong feeling of positivity and optimism, reminding us to focus on the good times and learn from our mistakes. The line "Lessons have taken the sting out of mistakes" is particularly powerful and uplifting. Overall, this poem is filled with positive energy and a sense of togetherness.

    Improvement Suggestions:
One suggestion I have for improving this poem is to add a bit more variation in the rhyme scheme. Currently, the poem follows an ABAB rhyming pattern throughout, which could be expanded to include more diversity in rhymes. Adding in some internal rhyme or using different end sounds could enhance the musicality of the poem. Additionally, some sections feel slightly repetitive, such as the repeated use of phrases like "deep in our souls." Finding alternative ways to express the same ideas could provide a fresh perspective and keep the reader engaged. Finally, a clearer structure or progression of ideas could help guide the reader through the poem more smoothly. By organizing the thoughts into distinct sections or stanzas, the poem could flow even more seamlessly.
