Skyward
William brooks 1959 (Salem)
Going to a lovely place far beyond the sky. Only God knows the real reason why. To take one from this earth is always a reason. No matter what time day or season. Everyone has their time it's just a matter of when. An yes after this life I will see you again. Yes I must say you were a swell guy. But why your time must not question why. We all loved you so this you well knew. We also know you loved us too. The brightness that shine is what you will carry. Even though you were young and never did marry. You are in my prayers each night as I pray. And will be remembered each and every day. Oh Lord please help each day that goes by. Because time itself really does fly.
About this poem
A nephew passed away in 1995 and I still think of his ways and great of a guy he was. This is dedicated to everyone who witnesses a loss.
