Envy in Me

Why can't I just be happy, why can't I just be free?
Why has all this jealousy, got a hold on me?
It's tearing me down, it's ripped me apart.
It's destroying my soul, as well as my heart.
I can't seem to shake it, it won't let me go.
It will own me forever, this much I know.
I've tried to ignore it, pretend it's not there.
It always comes back, with more envy to share.
It keeps on persisting, till finally it's heard.
And without even thinking, I say Envy's words.
I regret it all after, when it's much too late,
I've let out it's emotions, along with it's hate.
How do I keep living...with this in my life?
To be someone's partner, when I'm Envy's wife.
The torturess tormenting that I feel inside,
I can not consume it, it has only one side.
It's worse then an addiction, you can not get away.
You can't just lock the door, for inside you it stays.

Then someday, the day will come,when its destroyed
All me.  That'll be all inside that's left, with my
Insanity.
Maybe one day, before I die, maybe I'll be free.
Then the only thing I'll have, is little lonely me.
