The Ballad of Two

In the realm where stars doth dance,
Amidst the moon's soft, silver trance,
There lies a tale of love's sweet glance,
A ballad sung in whispered chants.

In fields of emerald, kissed by dew,
Two hearts entwined, so pure and true,
Their love a flame that brightly grew,
Beneath the skies of azure hue.

Through valleys deep and mountains high,
They journeyed on, ne'er asking why,
For in each other's arms they'd lie,
Bound by love that would never die.

But fate, in its relentless scheme,
Cast shadows o'er their tender dream,
And though they fought with all their gleam,
Their love succumbed to sorrow's stream.

Now in the twilight's soft embrace,
Their memory lingers, time can't erase,
Their ballad sung in hallowed space,
A testament to love's embrace.

So let us raise our voices high,
And sing their tale beneath the sky,
For though their love may fade and fly,
Their ballad echoes, never to die.
