She as I

                                            She as I
She's alive but she wants to die,
When you see her every time,
Everyone loves her, but everyone lied.
                                    I know that girl,
                                  She hated her life.
Because everyone wants her to die,
                                she sniffed on snow,
                           when she was feeling low,
She used her heart to sell her soul.
When she goes out she feels ashamed.
She wants to kill this monster.
She would use a knife to erase the pain.
                         The days passed slowly,
                             Can't sleep at night,
She was rejected all of her life.
                            I wanted to help her,
                        But I couldn't get through,
I tried to help the hurt and the pain,
                         that was locked up inside.
I tried to stop her for taking her life.
But it was far too late.
As I looked in the mirror,
                                 I see her fade.
They never found out how she survived.
I never found out how she could lie,
With a smile on her face and the marks she would hide.
                              Down on her back,
                           She bled on the floor,
This useless life she wanted no more,
                              Dead in her heart,
                              Cold to the bone,
She opened her eyes and saw she was alone.

About this poem

I wrote this poem when I was in high school. That was over 10 years ago. I entered this poem before and got an editors choice award with a plaque of that poem. So I am rewriting it now.
