When Souls Collide

Peniel Stephenson 2000 (Abia)

It was dark and bleak
Until you came along
Now in your gaze
I have found the light

The one I've secretly desired
For such a long time
There's a little form too
Just a little beneath your shadows

This one is not dark, like mine have been
Yours brings warmth, a gentle gleam,
and In your light
my soul finds its dream.

Slowly these shadows fade away
And a new form covered in light appears
I guess this is what happens
When souls like ours collide
