When We Cry

When the children cry do we even bother to ask why?
To the mother all alone holding onto her strength to try
Do we truly take the time
To acknowledge and brighten their day with a simple smile?
To the man all alone
Do we pray he finds his happy home?
Do we pray to take their pain away?
What child deserves to suffer?
The devil is such a monster
Life is such an unfair roller coaster
I pray we can escape to heaven
A safe place where evil does not exist
No more pain
Only love to gain
