For Vespera Lilith Morrigan

I kiss your lips and stroke your hair,
My heart beat rapidly as I felt the scent
of the sea blue in your eyes to my bones.
I exhale my sea-scented breath into the air,
I can feel the heartbeat in my mouth, and it tastes so good.

Darling, darling,
What more do you want from me?
I gave you the holy book of my love
Darling, darling,
What more do you want from me?
I gave you the key to my honour.

I hold your hands, small as the fruit of Eden,
Yet heavy with the weight of our shared desires.
In their delicate grasp, I find solace,
A fleeting touch of paradise amidst earthly fires.

Your fingers intertwined with mine,
Like vines weaving through the garden’s maze.
In each other’s embrace, we find sanctuary,
A sacred refuge from life's chaotic craze.

But still, you yearn for more, my dear,
As if my offerings are but a fleeting taste.
I've given you the depths of my soul,
Yet your hunger persists, never to be effaced.

Oh, darling, what more can I bestow?
I’ve laid bare my heart, my essence, my all.
Yet still, your appetite remains unsated,
Leaving me to ponder, to question, to fall.

So here I stand, with open palms,
Offering what remains of my love's decree.
Hoping that amidst this longing and despair,
You’ll find contentment, fulfilment, and see.

As the shadows of doubt linger on,
I hold onto hope, a flickering flame.
Perhaps in time, you’ll realise,
That my love for you will never wane.

But if my efforts fail to suffice,
And you continue to seek more,
I’ll release you with a heavy heart,
Knowing I've given all I had in store.

For love, though vast and boundless,
Cannot thrive on one side alone.
So farewell, my darling, my sweet,
May you find what you seek, and your heart’s own throne.
