Whispers of the Still forest

In a forest where time stood hushed and still,
Two bears roamed, in search of their will.
Their fur, a tapestry of ancient tales,
Whispered secrets in the wind's soft wails.

Amidst the trees, a lone cat did tread,
With eyes of amber, and a heart unfed.
Together they roamed, through shadows deep,
Where secrets lay, and mysteries sleep.

But the forest held more than meets the eye,
For in its depths, a riddle did lie.
Whispers of truth, hidden in the breeze,
A puzzle to solve, to set minds at ease.

"speak, oh wind, what secrets do you bear?
whisper to us, the answer we dare."
The cat, with wisdom in its gaze,
Unraveled the mystery in the sun's soft rays.

And as the riddle's answer unfurled,
The forest sighed, and the world twirled.
For in that moment, understanding found,
Peace and harmony echoed all around.

The bears and the cat, now bound by fate,
Roamed the forest, no longer in wait.
In the warm stillness, they found their place,
A mythic tale, in the forest's embrace.

Rachell Serrano

I grew up always pondering hidden meanings and life and a deeper understanding of why the world moves how it does. I have a passion for nature and love to adventure a lot which is how this idea of a poem came to be. As I type this from my table in my apartment I ask you this, "What drives you to think the way you do?" more…
