The last year of school

The last year of school is a total disaster
With GCSE's just around the corner
The teachers all ask what we plan to do?
When the last year of school is finally through.

I think for a while, what I would like to be,           but filling out an application for collage             isn't quite right for me.                                                  I could always be an author                                    and write a book or two.                                Bringing something new and exciting
So the reader is stuck like glue.

I would work at a shelter
And take care of all the pets
Although snuggles and walkies
are more my style.
I would even be willing
to help the vets out,
every once in a while.

I could be a sassy sales clerk,                                and work in a fancy boutique,
helping all the customers
to become fashionably unique.

But no matter what I do,
My future is clear
I'm going to be the girl
With a successful career.
So bring on the exams
I'm ready for the tests
My head is in the books
I'm can only do my best.

No matter what happens
Within this last year
I shall work harder than ever
To teach my career.
