The Rapture is Coming

        The Rapture is Coming

The problem with our world today
It has tossed God’s Son aside
Does not believe God raised Him up
Earth hangs on its own pride

It carries on with wars galore
Everywhere around the globe
Won’t believe Christ will come back
Man thinks he’ll solve earths load

By rope Christ would be hung today
Man, would still doubt He’d arise
Man’ s surely going down the drain
He’s heading for a real surprise

Revelation makes it very plain
That as the end of this earth nears
Atrocities like we’re seeing now
Will have man shudder at the knees

The heavens soon will open
The stars will fall to ground
The moon and sun will give no light
Life on earth will be ground down

The birds and animals will feast
On man’s flesh down to the bone
Those who remain with Satan’s sin
Will be left as corpses on the ground

The only hope for man right now
Is to believe that Christ did come
Was sent down by our God above
To take believers in Him home

Christ will come on wondrous cloud
With hosts of angels too
The anger in this world to day
Needs washing out of you

Who can live, who can be saved
Only those who have believed
That Christ truly was God’s Son
The’ll live in Him and be reprieved

We’re told in scripture “In Him we live
And move and have our being”
Be budded into Christ right now
‘Tis your only hope of living

About this poem

I write this poem aware of the situation in Israel right now and the prophetic word in Isaiah chapters 29-35 and more and verse 4 in proverbs Chapter 16. God, regardless of what man thinks, is in control and one day sin will be no more for those who know Christ came to give man a chance to become totally free forever.
