My Beloved Loves Me

I love thee like the heavens composed.
I love the more than the stars numbered.
I love thee deeper than all the oceans.
I loved thee before time was.
I will love you until there is no time.
I knew you before your birth.
I placed my precepts within your heart to seek forth.
I will love thee until you cease in this world.
My love has no boundaries, limitation or designs.
No love on earth compares to mine.
I composed you for such a moment like this.
Walk with me, talk with me.
Take my hand and let me show you what your eyes can not see.
For I designed thee.
To be My Beloved

About this poem

I wrote this poem because of my love for everything that is good, pure, and lovely which I attribute to the love of God Almighty has for me. I thought if I could only express by mirroring his love for me though this poem it would be pleasing to my Beloved

So throughout my life I have always loved writing. Life got in the way and I had a family and was logical and their went my dreams until now. Retired finishing my BA in Creative Writing at sixty I am finally pursuing my dream to be a poetic writer. more…
