Jet Rood

I visited you
at a moment
your life seemed steady
at a time
when you were dreaming
dreaming of the years to come

with a precious bond
of loving care
standing at your side
her joy and laughter
easing your pain
from fear and reality

of me, creepy assassin
wondering around
inside
taking its time
to end your life
leaving her behind
