In Silence

In silence  I wait,  I listen to hear,
The words I've spoken from my mouth to your ear.
I love your presence. Its so easy to be,
Surrounded by your warmth , your energy.
You are my strength, my hiding place.
I am surrounded solely by your grace.
Because in it I find.
An escape, a release for my finite mind.

This silence, it breaks the chains I feel..
Of being in bondage from the pangs that life deals.
This silence moves ,no it hovers o'er me
It lets me know that I am free!
This silence reveals its strength to me
It hides nothing, there's no mystery!
For in this silence, the essence of you
Bears witness to the One who is Love and truth.
Your Omnipresence has found its place.
I feel at times that we are face to face.
The silence has caused an intimacy
And in this moment, I crave to be...
In the silence.....
With You  Yahweh...
