This House is a mess

There’s an empty bedroom that used to house me
With white walls surrounding
A single picture about to fall
A portrait to stare at waiting for a call
I know I made a few mistakes
It makes me wonder if its too late
It’s a mess in here, clothes on the floor
There all clean things never worn
I pick them up and think of you
I put them back down cause I can’t seem to choose
I stumble around, life in daze
This house makes me feel like I’m in a maze
I’m angry so I punch the walls
The holes that are made reflect my heart
If this is the end where do I start?
I cry to no avail
My tears stream under veil
I try to move but my feet won’t pick up
It’s like my mind is trying but somehow stuck
Is this what it’s like to die
Or is this just an easy way to hide
Forgive me lord, forgive us
We lived to break trust
Lord I pray with all that is in me
That you please please lord bring her back
Bring her to me
