Missing Pieces

Each time I attempt to build myself up I brutally get knocked back down. I scrounge up the shattered remnants and try to piece myself back together. Each time a piece is never to be seen again. Just like a puzzle I am discarded for being incomplete. A void succumbs my being. Surrounding me in darkness. Steadily seeking my missing pieces from the past. I want to feel whole. Complete. Desirable once again. A glimmer of light breaks through the lurking shadows. A beacon of hope. I discover my missing pieces. One by one. Humility. Worthiness. Tranquility. The one piece that is still astray is what I desire most. Will I ever be able to stumble upon it again? Self Love, where have you cloaked yourself?
