To say it isn't possible
to be free from bias
precludes the possibility of it.
In other words
belief is a self-imposed bias.
Man is predisposed to view the world
according to a particular bias
which doesn't mean we can't be free from bias
else we are only slaves to the past.
In the context of evolution
bias is an organism's particular world view.
Perhaps new species are born
when their bias is somehow transcended
or transmuted.
