I Am A Life

Not much, you say?
How dare you...just look
At yourself--in the heart.
And yes, in the mirror.

A life is all, you must agree.
You are a life, so I must be.

Did you say, it is your choice
To give it to me,
Or take it away?

Do I have that choice?
Again, just look at yourself.
"That woman--in the mirror (and--
In my heart) is my mother.
And--given a chance at life,
In life, I will kill for her."

As my dad would always say,
"It's hard enough to kill a cockroach."
So, how dare you consider considering. ...

I am a life.
Let me live.
