Shot Down
A cold steel knife pierced into the american back,
the handle itself carved out of a narcissist government,
it doesn't matter your double edged belief side,
it's only the poor getting the raw deal ride...
It really doesn't affect my life at all,
my leader lived after being crucified on a Cross,
the language each side spews out of their pie hole,
is nothing more than the cold holding the south pole...
Politics I've followed for over 30yrs,
not left nor right nor independent nor liberal nor conservative etc,
a simple child of God being entertained by man with a 'good' degree,
I've seen better in those that got experienced in life for free...
Say what you will about the ones you disagree with,
name calling and degrading others only shows your own issues,
none of us will ever fully agree with one another,
just remember in God's eyes we're ALL Sisters & Brothers...
I've heard lies and exaggerations on the news stations,
each channel siding the way their heart feels,
each side having its right and its wrong,
maybe everyone needs to step back to see where they really belong...
If they spent more time talking about the homeless and hungry,
I believe we wouldn't have as many problems as we do,
who really cares what this government believes in,
especially when they talk about everything except for their own sin...
It doesn't matter what this world does to you,
if you're walking with the Holy Spirit you are free,
loss will be your gain,
even the loneliness of your outspoken pain...
