Siddhartha Gautama
He, the Enlightened One,
Emptied of his suffering,
He, whose ideas always won,
Over his people, hovering.
Siddhartha Gautama, the rested soul,
Seeked his one and only goal;
Nirvana waited for him, inside of his heart,
From his feelings, he wanted to rip apart.
Om was his escape; the closest word to peace,
His soul closer to nirvana, arrived piece by piece.
As he reached enlightment, all praised the Gautama,
The Buddha above all, the Exalted Siddhartha.
