Strangers wastin' No more time
Now and then you find that love just ain't enough when you're dreamin' 'bout tomorrow
Lookin' for the shadows that disappear when the mind stops behind the ebony block
Nothin' is marked in stone but when you can't keep it together, it's just a wasted blow
Comin' from the heart or the soul, from the conscious, super ego or id pre-utero.
Fools of every kind to match every kind of love for the grape, the noise, the nuts
From heaven and hell I came and went before and after you came and left in vain
Perfectly fine bacteria weaving fabrics of cumulus cloud loaded and ready to rain
Viral stratus clouds as above, so below, with or without philosophical insults.
Of every way you can see what's right in front of your very own eyes, you're killed
Dead as a door nail, heart and brain shut down, surrendered to gravity's putsch
Experienced swimmers always drown in the riverwater's power inertia smash
There must be more, there just must be something else in store, superego styled.
For the stack of slain people in the middle of every continent on hardrock slop
We can go on for days without a smoke or a drink, just a blow now and then
From the plants and fungi growin' like weeds out of control in a tomato garden
Mind's eyesight altered to distort the meaning, rockin' myself to love by the drop.
All the devils in Hades are now back alive here and now on Terra Ferma's rocks
They will fight some wars very soon, kill each others children until beaten
A bottle of Boone's Farm and a stick of Thai to calm the nerve of the flocks
Silly fools, sad ones already gone, honey dripped sirens somewhere in heaven.
Microbial viral and bacterial movement rocking our world when we can't see
From our conception to our extinction, the fungi populate our world's senses
You don't know them and I don't either but they do what they do, sefl defenses
Orgasmic hijacked, host DNA and RNA evolved, replicated life and death of me.
Strain this dream to mythic proportions, stretch it out like it fell into a black hole in the sky
Nearly reachin' the horizon, consciousness explodes into the vacuum of cosmos' soul
Hidden from sensation but essential to the satisfaction you can get only if you try
In a dream, you awaken and become enlightened with Truth's reason why we live and die.
