Sweet Sorrow.

Missing you,
is the sweetest kind of sorrow.
 Loving you,
is the sharpest kind of pain.
I let you have my heart but just to borrow.
 Now you can keep it,
 because your broke it anyway.
To say I loved you is such, a mild way to say it,
I love you so much, that every night I'd pray that,
you'd always love me back and that you would never leave.
Now I have to assume that god didn't hear me.
Missing you,
is the sweetest kind of sorrow.
 Chasing you,
is the biggest waste of time.
I gave you all of me,
 but only ‘til tomorrow.
 And now you kept it,
stealing my tears- the perfect crime.
The fact  I miss you, is such an underestimation,
the way I trusted you, was such a big mistake.
I don't know what you did, to desserve my dedication,
I don't know what I did to deserve this heartbreak.
But missing you,
is the sweetest kind of sorrow.
 That you love her,
I gave you all of me,
is the fact lodged in my brain.
I let you go, because I knew I couldn't follow.
And it kills me everytime I hear your name.

EMAIL ME AT sofisweetie@hotmail.com or add me on facebook for info on my other writing! https://www.facebook.com/SophieLarrrrrMarieMy name is Sophie Marie Roberts. I'm nearly 20 years old and I live in Wrexham, North Wales. I write poetry because it's one of the things that comes naturally. When I was a child I would try to write a diary like everyone else my age but I ended up with a book of poetry. I find it the easiest way to express what is happening in my mind too (which, in some cases, worries me- since my poetry is rather bizzare!) I don't have any diploma's, certificates or qualifications that tell me I should write but I write anyway. I hope people like my poetry- but I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea- but I hope it's yours. ALSO; PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ALLTHOUGH I WROTE 'THIS POEM MEANS' UNDERNEATH MY POEMS- I'M MERELY STATING WHAT IT MEANT IN MY HEAD. PLEASE INTERPRET MY POETRY HOWEVER YOU WISH. http://www.booksie.com/mystery_and_crime/short_story/inksplodges/bitter-freedom/chapter/1 < one of my short stories. more…
