The New Day

I hear bells,
far over the hills,
across the fields,
near the old mills.

A beautiful spring day.
The birds sing.
peacefully and mellow,
the bells still ring.

The sound of music.
The bride and groom.
Everyone's silent
when they enter the room.

They say their vows,
a simple I do.
A ring on a finger,
two lives now a new.

You may kiss the bride,
said with a smile at view.
Only three words left,
I love you.
