The Shovel
I pity the blind savior that can't save themselves,
From the fact that they will die one day,
Afraid of the fact that the dust is reborn,
Drain my energy and feel my pain,
And to this I laugh and walk away,
Trendy flicker of light,
Why do you fight?
Can you still give me a deal?
To save a life that I remember?
Would you instill a story so that I may hope?
Hope, that one day I will flash and subside?
Could you empty my vesicles so I may breath?
Can you just walk away from me?
Stop walking on the site where I once laid,
Stop feeling that you are the shade,
Stop gnawing with those blades,
Stop digging in my past,
At last, stop regurgitating the heavy hate,
That I buried, that I can see is just trivial and residual.
