Analysis of My Dim Little Light
Claire Deschene 2007 (North Smithfield)
Flickering streetlights…
Shadows dancing
Moon shining
Stars twinkling
Standing and staring
At the light in me
The dim light that needs
To be brightened
But is slowly fading away
And you…
The light inside you…
The light is brighter
Then a thousand suns
Waiting
Wanting
to brighten the world
Standing and staring
Glistening in the moon
Like an angel that has been brought down
To bring me joy and brighten
My Dim Little Light
