The Man in the Brown Castle

The man in the brown castle
Keeps his dwindling hair untidy.

The man in the brown castle
Sits on a lone rocking chair,
Staring at stained walls.

The man in the brown castle
Wears a tired expression
Whilst looking out to the sea.

The man in the brown castle
Only speaks in shadows,
Always refusing to see his own.

The man in the brown castle
Let his mind drift
And sanity wane.

The man in the brown castle
Still waits for his wife
To haunt the foggy meadows
Outside his only window.
