Thank You

Thank You

What would a Thank You sound like if it had a voice all of its own?
Would it sound like the roar of a lion setting on his throne?
Would it be little and squeaky like a little mouse so sneaky?
Would it be soft like the winds touch as it kisses your cheeks?
Would it be odorous like an outhouse on a hot day that reeks?
What would a Thank you sound like if it had a voice all of its own?
Would it come from deep within I ask thee?
Or shallow like a tinkle of a bell you see…
Would your eyes widen or slit like a witch?
Would your body relax or tighten with a twitch?
What would a Thank You sound like if it had a voice all of its own?
Should it be a meaningless task and shallow I ask?
Would it be well meant but poorly sent?
Would the task be forgotten and then sent after the fact I ask?
Would it be sent with endearment and love that makes my heart repent?
What would a Thank You sound like if it had a voice all of its own.
